Busking at Waterloo Station – 24th March

Next Saturday afternoon, 24th March, we are going to be busking at Waterloo Station in aid of Youth Music. We've got a 45 minute slot starting at 2pm which gives us enough time to squeeze in fifteen of our latest songs! (including the Pankhurst Anthem and Sisters Are Doing It For Themselves which we recently performed at a flashmob on International Women's Day!) And if that's not enough for you, we will be followed by our musical director Laurel's other choir, Take Note Blackheath, at 2:45pm. A whole Saturday afternoon of lovely singing.

About Give A Gig Week and Youth Music:

Give a Gig Week is a fundraising initiative for Youth Music.

We believe everyone should have the chance to make music.

Our projects help young people develop musically, of course, but they have personal and social outcomes too.

We know that those facing difficulties - economic problems, lifelong conditions, tough circumstances or behavioural issues - are often the ones who get the most out of music-making.

Youth Music offers meaningful chances to young people in complicated situations.

With your support, we can make a genuine difference to many more young lives.
