Brace yourselves people - choir is back for 2019!
After a post-Christmas and New Year recovery period we are back rehearsing, once again under the watchful eye of our musical director Laurel. Some might call her strict - the rest of us wouldn't dare squeak.
We've got a busy term ahead of us with performances at the Darwin Day Lecture and the Brandenburg Choral Festival already in the diary. Should be loads of fun!
New (or sadly lapsed) members are always welcome to join - come along to a rehearsal to try it out. Your first one is free! There's even tea and (normally) snacks in the break, and a sizeable contingent head to the pub afterwards. No auditions, although being able to read music is helpful.
Rumour has it that being part of the choir is so incredibly cool, all members immediately get a pay rise and a kitten. Only one way to find out...
Our first rehearsal is Tuesday 8th Jan is at 7pm at Rosslyn Hill Chapel, Rosslyn Hill, Hampstead, NW3 1NG
Every rehearsal after that is at our usual home, Tuesdays at 7pm, at Doreen Bazell Hall, Goldington St, London NW1 1UG - nearest tube Kings Cross/St Pancras.
